I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley.

My main interests include bioethics, history and philosophy of science, and philosophy of race. In May 2025, I earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Utah. I also hold an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of Arkansas and a BA in Philosophy from Wellesley College.

My free time is spent with my partner and my two cats. I enjoy cooking South Indian food, baking bread, reading feminist science fiction, and doing needlework.
